Dr. Tatiyana Urbin, D.C.

D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic)

Healing modalities:
Chiropractic
Integrative Medicine

About Dr. Urbin:
Dr. Tatiyana Urbin was born in Russia and was trained in the art of allopathic medicine in her home country. With her move to the U.S. in 1992, she embarked on a pursuit of her interests in holistic medicine. She entered study at the National College of Chiropractic (National University of Health Sciences) and in 1999 achieved her goal and became a board certified Chiropractic physician.

Dr. Urbin has had a great deal of success in diagnosis, treatment, and management not only of musculoskeletal problems but also with numerous chronic and debilitating health conditions. As a dually trained holistic and allopathic physician, her approach to treatment employs clinically useful and effective laboratory tests in fields of allergy, immunology, neuroscience, and nutrition to identify underlying causes of health problems and not simply mask symptoms with medication.

Dr. Urbin is one of only a very select few practitioners employing a new and very powerful method in detecting potential allergens in the environment. Allergens are known to be responsible for more than a rash or a runny nose, but they can cause further problems on both physiological and psychological levels. As a result of continued exposure, immediate and delayed reactions to allergens can turn into chronic problems such as weight gain, digestive problems, arthritic change, fatigue, hyperactivity, headaches, asthma, and skin changes. It is Dr. Urbin’s goal to detect potential causative agents and treat ailments by preventing exposure and not by simply treating the effects.

Dr. Urbin uses spinal manipulation, physical therapy, nutrition, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, massage, and therapeutic weight management programs as a basis of her therapy to target the causes of problems and not simply cover up symptoms. Dr. Urbin’s approach is strictly tailored to each individual's needs, and her treatments are unique based on each patient’s distinct physiology. She definitely does treat the individual, rather than just his/her illness.
